About this listen

The place: America. The year: 1931. The setting: the transcontinental express train known as the "Flying Pussyfoot." Aboard the train are a gang aiming to make some extra cash, a group of revolutionary terrorists trying to recapture their leader, and a pair of thieves looking to meet up with an old friend in New York City. But drunk on the excitement of their departure, none of them are prepared for what awaits them on the rails... Adventure Literature & Fiction Science Fiction Science Fiction & Fantasy

The narrator really brings life to all the characters, and the character voices are similar to those known and loved by the fandom via the anime. I especially enjoyed how Michael voices the different laughters and sound effects, and brought out a lot of each character's personality.

The story is great as always, with many interesting characters, motivations, and lots of stuff happening all the time. Narita is the master at weaving together different narrations, and it's always a treat to see how everything comes together in the end.

I can strongly recommend the Baccano! audiobooks both to old fans familiar with the franchise and to brand new Baccano! fans alike (after they've listened the first book, of course).

Great narrator!
