Story
I didn't mean to sneak a peek at my older brother's best friend. But when I catch him showering by mistake, I can't help but look. The guy is massive - and I do mean everywhere. We're all home to celebrate Dad's retirement as one big happy family, except my newlywed brother's already getting divorced, my mom keeps asking why I'm still single, and most frustrating of all, Barrett Wilson is staying with us at my parents' home for the weekend. I've known Barrett for years, so why am I suddenly noticing so many new things about him - like how big he is? It's maddening.

Story
He’s bossy, moody, and overprotective. He’s also a pro athlete who needs to focus on winning games and staying out of the headlines. I’m fiercely independent and need a man like I need a second period each month. So when our worlds collide, I never expected him to be the one to jump in and save me. Especially not when my roommate disappears, leaving me with her baby. I’m clueless about babies - and it shows. Good thing Alexei isn’t.

Story
For six generations, the women of wine country have had a saying: don’t bang a Hunter man unless you want a bun in your oven. Yeah, well. I’ve got a saying too: no thanks. The last thing I need is baby makes three. My business is expanding, and the only thing I’m interested in getting knocked up is my bottom line. But then one night, Emma Haverford makes me an offer I can’t refuse - she backs away from the land I have my eye on in exchange for a favor...a big, fat, baby-making favor....

I broke her heart 10 years ago and left town. She hates me, and rightly so. It doesn’t matter that the rest of the country loves me, that I’m a starting quarterback with a multimillion-dollar contract. Because when I look in the mirror, all I see is a failure who was too young - and too afraid - to fight for what I wanted. But I’m not that guy anymore, and all I need is one shot to convince her.

Story
Bennett Fox walked into my life on one hell of a crappy Monday morning. I was late for the first day at my new job - a job I’d now have to compete for, even though I’d already worked eight years to earn it, because of an unexpected merger. While I lugged my belongings up to my new office, a meter maid wrote me a parking summons. She’d ticketed a long line of cars - except for the Audi parked in front of me, which happened to be the same make and model as mine. Annoyed, I decided to regift my ticket to the car that had evaded a fine.

Story
We met in the least likely of places. It started out innocently enough. I was “ScreenGod”, and she was “Montana”, but of course those weren’t our actual names, just the virtual cloaks we hid behind. Logging in at night and talking to her was my escape - my sanctuary. Her real name was Eden, I’d soon come to find out. From the first time we connected online, I found myself transfixed. She was an addiction. At first, we knew nothing about each other’s real identities...and she was adamant that we keep things that way.

It all started with a mysterious blue note sewn into a wedding dress. Something blue. I’d gone to sell my own unworn bridal gown at a vintage clothing store. That’s when I found another bride’s “something old.” Stitched into the lining of a fabulously feathered design was the loveliest message I’d ever read: Thank you for making all of my dreams come true. The name embossed on the blue stationery: Reed Eastwood, obviously the most romantic man who ever lived. I also discovered he’s the most gorgeous. If only my true-love fantasies had stopped there.

Sweet, nerdy, lovable Keaton. She's my best friend and has been for years. Sure she likes numbers and math, and thinks doing other people's taxes is fun. And I like...none of that stuff. She reads novels I'll never understand, and yet we just click. There's no one I'd rather share breakfast burritos with or binge watch hours of Netflix with. She's my person. And so when she takes off her glasses and asks me to help her improve her skills in the bedroom, I barely have to think about it. Of course I'll help her. There's no one better for the job. But what happens when she's ready to take her new-found confidence and move on?

I couldn't have scripted a more perfect night. For one fantastic evening, at a masquerade party in the heart of Manhattan, I'm not the millionaire everyone wants a piece of. Fine - multimillionaire. But who's counting all those commas? Not me, and not the most intriguing woman I've ever met. And that's why I'm eager to get to know her more, since my mystery woman seems to like me for me, rather than for my huge...bank account. Everything's coming up aces. Until the next day, when things get a little complicated. (Newsflash - a lot complicated.)

That smoking hot one-night stand with a former rock star? Turns out, he's my son's new teacher. Oops. But I didn't know that the night I met Campbell. All I knew was he played my body the same way he played a guitar - like he owned it. My libido is still high-fiving me after being self-served for too many years, and we're both ready for another night or two of fun, especially since we don't just have chemistry in bed - we connect over everything. That is, until I learn he's the man who'll be coming to my house twice a week to teach my son the best music lessons money can buy.

Zane Phillips mistook me for his dog walker. It shouldn’t surprise me that the man with a suit more expensive than my rent would assume that I was there to serve him. The positive? Sometimes you got to fight for your own Fairytale

Summary
A hot and hilarious new standalone from New York Times best seller Kendall Ryan
We met in a trapped elevator. Emmett was on his way to work, sophisticated and handsome in his tailored suit and tie. I was on my way to the sperm bank. Awkward, right?
At 35, my life hadn't taken the path I thought it would and I was tired of waiting - I wanted a baby. And I was ready to take matters into my own hands to make it happen.
After our ill-fated elevator encounter, Emmett insisted on taking me to dinner - he also insisted on something else - that I ditch my plan involving a turkey baster and let him do the job. He would be my baby daddy. He was a wealthy and powerful CEO with little interest in diapers or playdates. And since he didn't want kids, I'd be on my own once his bun was in my oven, free to go my own way.
But once his baby was inside me, it was like a switch had been flipped, and I got a whole lot more than I ever bargained for.
This full-length standalone contains a hot, swoon-worthy hero, lots of playful banter and some hot baby-making! Enjoy.

Not worth the credit
I don't like leaving bad reviews but I really don't understand how this book got 4.5 stars... Whilst the theme sounded interesting enough there was very little character development, immature dialog, and so much sex that I felt I was listening to soft porno instead of a romance book. Now I'm no prude but still, it becomes really tiresome when it's all about the sex and nothing else. Both lead characters are supposed to be adults well in their thirties, running their own businesses...so whilst maybe not the best at relationships they should at least have some modicum of intelligence. Instead, what I got was a moron agreeing to impregnate a random female after exchanging 5 sentences in a lift, said female behaving like a brainless teenager and agreeing to let that amazing example of the male species father her child ....all that while neither of them has any idea of whom the other really is, what he/she does for a job etc. Really? I know this is only a book but still, the sheer stupidity of both characters made it unbearable. In fact it was so frustrating I simply gave up two thirds in.

Fun and Flirty
Predictable yet enjoyable read following CEO Emmett, who in his way to the office gets stuck in an elevator with Jenna, Jenna is on her way to the sperm bank. During their small talk in the elevator (they are the only two in it after all), it is more or less decided that Emmett will become said sperm donor, the story then follows them as they boink like rabbits and try their best not to get attached to each other, or god forbid, fall in love. Obviously there is a lot more to it than that, there’s even a little twist in the storyline. Fun flirty read, lovely characters, although Jenna did annoy me a little in the earlier chapters. The narration by Sebastian York was faultless, CEO definitely works for him.

Love Kendall Ryan’s Books.....
I absolutely love Kendall Ryan’s books. And Sebastian York is one of my favourite male narrators. But I didn’t enjoy the female narration. It didn’t sound natural. It made the chemistry between the two sound false. But I have to say all her books are good especially when read by Sebastian York!!

nothing new
The story is fairly generic and has no particularly exciting parts that jumped out and made you feel something. It had a typical storyline and you can probably guess what’s going to happen from the first chapter and what is going to go wrong. Had a happily ever after and we’ll rounded off story.

A pregnancy romance with a You've Got Mail feel
Kendall Ryan's taken the arranged pregnancy romance story line and given it a touch of You've Got Mail, the Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan hit film. Emmett Smith is a bit of a playboy, but there are reasons why he doesn't do committed relationships, misplaced as those reasons may be. Same goes for Jenna Porter, but she's got pregnancy on the brain, especially with her being in her thirties. She isn't looking for the hassle of dating and meeting "the one". She doesn't need to settle down with a man in order to have a child together with him. She may have decided to go to a fertility clinic, but getting stuck in a stalled elevator with Emmett has her taking a whole different direction.
Jenna's need for independence had her wanting to be more clinical about their approach, but Emmett brought out the more "fun" side of things by insisiting they do things the old-fashioned way. We've got the usual not-falling-for-each-other-but-then-they-do is present in the story, but then they're supposed to fall in love! That's why it's a romance. We want the happy ending. I do wish, though, that the author had done things a little differently. Maybe added a twist or two to allow it to stand out. That doesn't mean, though, that I Ryan didn't satisfy with this standalone. She did. As far as the narration goes, Sebastian York did sound as if he was dialing it in at times, but kudos to Virginia Rose for her work. Baby Daddy is a four-star listen. ♥

oh holy hotness...
This book was sexy to the max! Kendall's writing draws you in with ease. I don't know how to describe it... It is written in a relatable way- not showy with fancy wording- but using slang or funny sayings I would use. She can put a witty enjoyable spin on anything.
I adore these characters! I don't like giving away plot so all I will say is that I was yelling at them the whole way. I thought the plot was awesome- definitely something lots of women can relate to. Absolutely loved it!
Narration was fabulous! It passed all my criteria for what i like in a narrator. Voices were clear- pleasing to listen to- read with feeling and soul- I have ZERO complaints!

Could of Been Better
This is the second book I have listened to from Kendall Ryan and I'm not impressed with her writing. Her books are really short, but could be longer. She does a lot of telling instead of showing which could lengthen her books. The female character in this book wasn't impressive at all and really had very little growth. The male character did have some growth and was okay. The story was very predictable with a rushed ending and a plot twist that was unnecessary. Needless to say this will be the last book I will be listening to by this author. As always Sebastian York was excellent at narration. Virginia Rose was okay. Really wish I could have liked this book.

A good read with nice even storyline
This book was different. Stay with it. I almost dropped it about 1/4th the way thru because our "heroine" was behaving like a total jerk. But, it gets better once she quits being so self absorbed and starts to see him differently. Not one of KB's best but it is by KB so I will take it! :) I like her writing and her snappy dialogue.

Hilarious, Sweet and Emotional.
Kendall Ryan is trying to break me! I had a feeling this book was going to be an emotional rollercoaster for me and it was. It hit me in all the feel. I think anybody that’s ever tried to conceive and not been successful, at least the first time is going to identify with Jenna, the main character. It was handled so beautifully, so realistically that I just, having been in a similar situation, it just hit me, in all the feels I guess, and I think Kendall put a lot of heart and soul into that aspect of the story. I felt like I was there with Jenna, that her lows were my own and her highs, well, I got to experience them with her too. It was beautiful. It still has all the hilarious and sexy stuff that you, which is great, but the emotional aspect, for me at least, put this above the others I’ve read, I think it might be my favourite Kendall book to date, I know I’m a little behind, but after reading a good few, I think it’s probably my favourite. I love Kendall’s writing, it’s smooth and captivating and doesn’t drag. If there is a scene it’s because that scene makes sense to the story, that scene is going to move the story along, it’s not filler, there isn’t a lot of that in Kendall’s books, it’s not just there to increase the word count. Each scene has a purpose. I love that, and it makes it easy to read.
Not everyone is going to like the insta-lust aspect of this story, and you know what? That’s totally fine, everyone likes different things, I actually really liked it in this book because to me it made sense for these characters to meet and start their relationship that way. This book has all the feels. I’m still thinking about it, I loved it so much. The cover, swoon, holy forearms! Oh, my days! I have stared a little too much at this cover just gazing at the forearms, this might be my favourite Kendall cover yet. And, of course, I love that it includes the narrators names. I like to see at a glance who is going to be entertaining me.
These characters are great in this book, the way they interact, obviously, it’s hilarious because Kendall does humour very well. Some of the things that happened whether it’s the way the characters interact or how situations unfold is really funny, but it still has that emotional aspect to it. Jenna and Emmett are all the things. I adored them together, they made such a perfect couple from early on. Of course, if they realised that it would have been a super quick book. Haha. I loved how they interacted with each other, it was light-hearted and funny, but also sweet with a deeper connection. The sexy times were super sexy. Jenna was a strong independent woman, she knew what she wanted, and she made plans to make it happen, I loved that about her. She’s the type of character you wanna be friends with, I actually saw a lot of myself in her and that made this a very different experience for me. A great one, but different. Some of the aspects of this book hit close to home. Emmett was such a sweetheart, I loved him, the way he was with Jenna was sexy and sweet. Everybody needs an Emmett in their lives, a man that will allow them to be themselves but also take care of them. There is a twist/ conflict, which I’m not going to talk about much, just to say, we know what the twist is, but the characters don’t, when it comes to light, I’ll be honest, I wanted to punch Emmett in the balls because he didn’t handle that the best he could, it was resolved quickly and not dragged out. The ending was everything I hoped it would be.
This dual narration by Sebastian York and Virginia Rose was wonderful. Their voices complemented each other well. They give these characters life and really nail it. You just get lost in the story. Virginia Rose was absolutely fantastic. Her performance was beautiful. Her male voice is swoon-worthy, and I thought her performance of Jenna was fantastic, she conveyed her tough but vulnerable personality perfectly. I loved the emotion she showed and the ease of which she switched between different characters and situations. It was a pleasure to listen to and I look forward to hearing more. When I found out Sebastian York was one of the narrators, I was kinda like, again? I like his performances, I mean, who doesn’t? King of Aural Sex and all that, but, I guess you get over-saturated with voices sometimes, but I liked his performance, a lot. It was a sweeter narration style, than normal, at least I thought so, and I thoroughly enjoyed that. Emmett is a sweet character, sure he has the cocky, sexiness about him, but with Jenna he was always sweet, and I liked that, and that came across in Sebastian’s performance. If you’ve ever listened to a Sebastian York performance, he delivers, every time.
The production had no issues that I noted.

Needs some work.
The female characters has no depth. She is just needy and whiny. I could barely get through this book. At first she comes off as prim and proper but that is really a farce. She is demanding and not really a nice person. The male character just goes along with what she says for no apparent reason but sex. The story lines leaves something to be desired.Save your time and leave this one on the shelf. Jenna was seriously bitchy, I didn't understand how she could get upset with male character about something that SHE herself did not disclose, just like another reader had stated, she is a selfish, whiny, and bitchy person, it has to be her way or no way. The male character, he has changed and a huge growth, but Jenna, she didn't want to change, and only blames it on men. I wish the author had worked on the female character better for Jenna...I do not like. all in all, I felt the male character didn't have to do anything.

Baby Daddy
A one night stand turns into more than just one night. Love the sexy scenes and the interaction between the characters. It was a fun read.

disappointing
The story would have taken a couple chapters to tell if not for all the geapgic sex scenes.
