Can you truly walk a path alone, when you are surrounded by friends?

Jack messed around and found out. Sure, it wasn't entirely his fault, but now his Class matches his name, his Skills are locked and the only thing he can count on is his Spells. A tricky position to find yourself in when your entire world revolves around Levels.

The newly named adventuring team sets forth searching for a cure, and though that leads to valuable new additions for Helmrest, they stumble across a very interesting piece of information. Mrk, their funny, loyal, furry friend, is kind of a big deal? Big enough to attract danger, at least.

Their journey will take them from village to village, from the surface to deep underground, and more than anything, from the frying pan and into the fire. But the world is getting ever bigger and they're long past the point where they could pretend a sleepy little life in their Refuge was a possibility.

And the elves are back. Lets not forget that the pointy-ears are back and the world hasn't stopped shaking since. What are they up to?

This novel is a LitRPG adventure, following a young man who only wants to make the best out of what he's got. It is set inside a world where your Class dictates who you are and your Levels dictate your progress. But it is no video game.
