BOOK TWO IN THE CROSS ACADEMY SERIES

An Epic Christian Fantasy.

Fox Fire has settled into Babel, but she is far from safe. There is a trained assassin on the loose. His identity is a mystery, but his intentions are clear—capture KI at all costs. With a masked killer running around, the Academic Council shockingly decides to move up the entrance exams. Fox and her friends have spent months in training, but no one feels ready for the life and death battles that await them in the difficult test.

At first, all seems well. But when the Red Face strikes again, he brings powerful allies with him. The Nine Births of Carnage have entered the city. Their presence in Babel proves just how determined they are to get KI back, and the creature they bring with them all but guarantees they will achieve their goal.

The Howler is a darkling that casts a spell over anyone who hears its cry. When the creature sings for KI, his transformation is sped up beyond his control. Fox must watch as her best friend loses his humanity, his memory, and even his mind. But she isn't ready to give up just yet.

An epic battle unfolds that will not only decide KI's fate but could also tip the balance of good and evil in the Four Regions. Cross Academy cannot win this battle alone; thankfully, they have God on their side.
