BRQOTW 141 - Your caddie can mark, lift, clean and replace your ball on the putting green without needing permission.
Once your ball is marked and lifted, it "owns the spot". If wind moves it, you must replace it on the original spot.
If the ball will not stay on the spot after being replaced, try again. If it still will not stay, find the nearest spot where it will remain at rest.
Trying the original spot a third time is acceptable because it is the nearest spot to the original spot.
No penalty applies.
