A historic event that helped launch Fleetwood Mac's career in the U.S. was their visit to Chicago in January of 1969, when they had an all-day jam recording session with many of the blues greats from Chicago. The legendary Peter Green, along with Jeremy Spencer, Danny Kirwan and current band members Mick Fleetwood and John McVie laid down nearly 3 dozen tracks and the session was caught by acclaimed photographer Jeff Lowenthal who joins your host Ray White, along with Jeff's co-author of the book Fleetwood Mac in Chicago, January 4, 1969 - The Legendary Chess Blues Session , Robert Schaffner on this episode.
