Agatha Christie
Millionaire Paul Renauld has been found stabbed in the back and left face down in a shallow grave beside a golf course. His wife claims masked intruders abducted him during the night—but almost immediately, troubling inconsistencies begin to appear.
With Captain Hastings at his side, Poirot enters a case filled with secret relationships, suspicious alibis, hidden identities, and a crime from the past that may hold the key to the present. Complicating matters is Monsieur Giraud of the Paris Sûreté, a confident rival detective whose modern investigative methods clash sharply with Poirot’s belief in psychology, observation, and his famous “little grey cells.”
Then a second body is discovered.
As Hastings becomes romantically entangled with a mysterious young woman and the evidence points in increasingly contradictory directions, Poirot must separate carefully constructed deception from the truth before another life is lost.
First published in 1923, *The Murder on the Links* is Agatha Christie’s second Hercule Poirot novel—a clever, fast-moving mystery filled with rivalry, romance, buried secrets, and ingenious misdirection.
Narrated by Michael A. Lyons.
