Peter J. Matthews’ narration is simply superb. He takes an already great story and makes it even better, bringing the characters and the whole adventure to life.
Another very enjoyable addition to the series, I'm already looking forward to 1987.

I loved the characterisation of ‘Simon’ and the awful. ‘Roo’! Well done to Peter for capturing the characters. I could almost draw a picture !
The book had many great moments and I particularly liked the appearance of characters from previous books. They slotted in very nicely. I wonder if we will get to the origin of the bracelet as they are clearly in the same universe as the Time Bubble books. Maybe it’s an invention from Charlie or Josh as the subject of sending minds back in time was touched on in that series. Maybe the bracelet will end up saving the universe.
Anyway all I have to say is come on 1987. I’m looking forward to enjoying some more great stories and nostalgia from that year!
