I really enjoyed this book. I found the characters relatable and was eager to find out what happened next. I found it easy to be emerged into the story line and enjoyed the happy ending.
I was disappointed with the audio reading however. The reading was very flat and the words just rolled into one, as there was no pauses given at the end of chapters or after the title of each chapter so it made it difficult to follow. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the book but the audio version did not live up to my expectations.

This book was great from the start! A fabulous narrator! It's one of those that you want to go back to and find out more with the different characters. I literally want to go and stay in the pink hotel and walk around the grounds! I can't wait for Book 2!!

Stolen Kisses At The Loch View Hotel, is book one in the Glenbriar series written by Margaret Amatt.

Firstly, you can’t fail to be drawn in by the vibrant and attractive cover. It’s so pretty and appealing.

Stolen Kisses at the Loch View Hotel, is a very easy story to get into. It felt like catching up with old friends.

Margaret Amatt writes a wonderful setting. The Loch View Hotel and the village of Glenbriar, are so beautifully described, and quintessentially Scottish. You really will wish you were there. You can almost breathe in the fresh air and hear the water lapping at the shore. It’s just gorgeous!

I loved the characters in this book. Briony is a very likeable character. She works incredibly hard and always with a smile on her face. I was wholeheartedly rooting for her to find a way to save her hotel.
Zach arrives as a bit of a geeky grump, but the magic of Scotland (and a certain lady) soon wins him over.

There is history between Briony and Zach that still sizzles. And possibly some unfinished business between them too.
The pair have a mystery to solve. If the lost whiskey can be located, it could be the answer to the future of the hotel.

What’s not to love about this book? It’s full of wonderful characters, including a super star dog. There is a warm hearted sense of community, a mystery to be solved, some lovely humour, a boo-hiss baddie, some sweet, tummy tingling romance and some unexpected curveballs.

Stolen Kisses At The Loch View Hotel is beautifully written. It’s well crafted and moves along at a good pace. It’s a thoroughly feel good book with a big and glorious Scottish heart.

I can’t wait to read what comes next in the series. More of your books on audio please Margaret!

Lianne Walker narrates the audiobook perfectly. She clearly ‘got’ the story and brought it to life wonderfully.

This book left me with a big smile on my face and I hope I’ll get to visit Glenbriar again soon.

I love Margaret’s Glenbriar Series, I was quite late to the party so I am delighted that the first two in the series are now available as Audibles.
The Narrator is easy to listen to as she has a soft, gentle voice, her American accent is slightly off but she fits the overall ambience of the story. 
I was fully into Briony and American Zach's story. He was sent to evaluate and check it from top to bottom, leaving no floorboard or brick unturned. Briony is deflated at having to let her Pink Hotel go, cutting her losses.
Having crossed paths previously there’s a history between them. Add her ex with his ill intentions and the hunt for the hotels secret stash. Will the hotel be saved and can love reblossom for Briony and Zach?

I couldn't stop listening to this story, I had ot on when I was driving, walking, everywhere, it's a beautifully written story about Briony and Zach and a stolen hidden bottle of rare Whisky, Zach is from America and Briony owns a run down Pink Hotel beside the loch in Glenbriar, and they have a past history that didn't end well, Zachs boss sent him to Brionys hotel to snoop for the Whisky which will determine if he buys the hotel or not and thrown in the mix, Brionys ex husband arrives with his new girlfriend and to cause trouble, but it seems Zach has past history with Brionys ex husband too, does the Whisky exist? there is also Folklore told buy an older character spun throughly the story, this is a fabulous story with, mystery, romance, drama and friendship with a dash of Folklore mixed in, I also loved the scottish narrator, I wanted to find out if the Whisky did exist but also didn't want the story to end, a fantastic read.
