An uneasy peace has fallen in the wake of the elven invasion.

Will returns to find the people of Terabinia grappling with the aftermath of war, even as the enemy gathers for another strike. Hoping to consolidate power, he sets out to unite the scattered wizards and reforge a lost order, the ancient Council of Wizardry.

Furious at Will's escape from the void, the Watcher's failure only fuels her madness. She turns to dark magic to rebuild her forces and seeds the populace with her twisted spies, intent on claiming Will's power for her own. In the shadows her plot grows sinister, for if she cannot get to Will, she will reach for those he loves. The world may tremble before the magic of the Stormking… but the terrors of the void serve the hunger of the mad queen.

Another amazing chapter in the series and after listening to micheals earlier book whilst waiting for this I understand the whole series a lot better now and will probably listen to both series of will and selenes life over and over again

Amazing series

I have been eagerly anticipating the third book in this series and don't feel disappointed. The story continues with the quality of writing and engagement expected, and positively there is more focus on Will and less on Selene. My only criticism is that the recaps can become a little tiresome for those who have followed the whole series.
Whilst waiting for book 3 I listened to the Art of the Adept series again (excellent, even book 5 now that this series follows on) and I would recommend it to any listeners of this Wrath of the Stormking series.

Another thrilling instalment

The humor that was plenty in first books in Art of the Adept series became less with time, but there was a few moments in this one where I literally laughed out loud, loved to see that.

Otherwise I think this was the weakest in this series but nevertheless, still good and much appreciated.

Good but weakest in this serie

I have listened to all the previous audiobooks in this series from Art Of The Adept book 1-5 and now Wrath Of The Stormking books 1-3 and I have to say that all of them have been written and preformed with excellence.
Michael has written a masterpiece and the performance by Tim Gerard Reynolds was his usual perfection. It’s a shame that this series appears to have come to an end, written so perfectly you cannot imagine it going any further in its current format. I have listened to all books in this series multiple times and not got bored yet, this latest book will be no different.

I will say 2 things:- 1, whilst I never try to preempt what is coming the epilogue I spotted a mile away 😁

2, when you hear chapter 47 and hear this quote I hope you laughed like I did
“That happens a lot, when I’m around”

🤣🤣🤣🤣

Holy cow 🐄 that was awesome 🤩
