Jo Martin reads a thrilling original Circuit Breaker story featuring the Fugitive Doctor.

Masquerading as a resident in a luxurious space hotel, the Doctor is in fact on a dangerous mission to eliminate Kashan Akravar, a rogue weapons dealer who’s attempting to auction blueprints for the deadliest weapon ever invented.

The Division - that shadowy Time Lord organisation - have briefed the Doctor to prevent the blueprints’ sale at all costs. But they’re not the only ones who realise the weapon’s potential. When the hotel is attacked by Cybermen, intent on seizing the blueprints, the Doctor must use every ounce of her courage and ingenuity to hold them off.

Working with husband and wife Kel and Jinni, the Doctor finds puzzles and obstacles in her way. Whose disembodied voice is calling out to her? What is its connection with UNIT’s Black Archive? And can anything prevent a cruel stroke of fate that will have unimaginable consequences for them all…?

Jo Martin - the Fugitive Doctor in the BBC TV series – reads this gripping adventure by Steve Lyons, the fourth instalment in the Circuit Breaker story arc, with David Banks as the Cyber-Leader.

I loved the concept of using the memory worm to look into the Fugitive Doctor’s memories while keeping it connected to new Who. It was amazing to see more of her time with Division. I loved her dynamic with Kel, Jinni, and Osgood, who this Doctor was, which allowed us to see a better relationship between them.

This is my favourite Cybermen from the 80s and brought me back to Earthshock, and David Banks returned as the Cyber-Leader! DWM teased a confrontation and my god Steve Lyon’s delivered and OMG I loved this story!

I loved the concept of using the memory worm as a way to look into the Fugitive Doctor’s memories. It was amazing to see more of her time with Division. I loved her dynamic with Kel and Jinni and how seeing that memory showed Osgood who this Doctor was and therefore allowing us to see a more improved relationship between them.

My favourite Cybermen are the 80s Cybermen and I loved that David Banks returned as the Cyber-Leader! DWM teased a confrontation not unlike the one the Fifth Doctor has in Earthshock and my god Steve Lyon’s delivered! Loved this story!

My favourite instalment of Circuit Breaker so far!

Jo Martin and David Banks are incredible!

A great story, the twist of it being set within the circuit breaker story but also not was very well done as it allows us to live on of the fugitives forgotten memories. I love this incarnation and it has alot to offer. As a part of Circuit Breaker i'm looking forward to seeing how all these parts come together.

Even as a standalone story it's very good, would highly recommend for fans of this incarnation.

Also having Jo Martin and David Banks play their on screen roles just hads to the fun
