Set in the intoxicating world of 1990s New York fashion, The Model is a gripping psychological thriller about ambition, betrayal, and obsession. When supermodel Ewa Antol mysteriously vanishes at the height of her career, her childhood friend Marki becomes determined to uncover the truth behind her disappearance.
Set against the glamorous backdrop of 90s fashion—where beauty is the only currency and seventeen-year-old models earn $100,000 per day—this twisting narrative follows Marki's dangerous journey through the dark underbelly of the fashion industry. From the glittering runways of Paris to the exclusive circles of New York's elite, she will risk everything to expose the secrets that led to Ewa's disappearance.

Only had one problem, but that was with my Alexa, which persistently cut me off at chapter 19. The book was so gripping that I continued playing it over my phone in the early hours of the morning!
