Polly Pressman is a London girl through and through. So when she’s asked to help save an old family friend’s struggling farm, she’s way out of her depth.

This was a lovely story from the start. The narration was however a bit too fast for the feel of the story so I slowed it down to 0.9 & it massively changed the whole feel & made it much more cosy. The characters are so endearing & yeah it might be a bit predictable but it’s predictable in a way you can get behind because it’s so well executed.

It was a beautiful and feel good love story with calming and relaxing scenes of the countryside/farm mentioned in the book. It also had a happy ending. I absolutely loved it from the beginning until the end.

I absolutely loved this book, such a beautiful, heartwarming story of friendship and love. So refreshing to listen to something so delightful, a nice story with lovely gentle narration….I would love there to be a sequel and follow the lives of these superb characters. I’m still smiling :)
