From the beginning, I found myself getting pulled into the story and wanting to know what would happen next. There were a few moments that genuinely made me curious and a little uneasy which is exactly what I want from a paranormal thriller. I liked the lead character and found myself invested in what he was going through. The supernatural elements, suspense, and twists kept the story moving, and I finished it feeling like I wanted to know where James's journey goes next. Definitely a fun and intriguing start to the series.

I wasn’t sure what to expect at first, but the story pulled me in and kept me interested. I really liked James as a character. He feels relatable because he isn’t looking for adventure or trouble, but when someone he cares about disappears, he’s willing to put himself at risk to help.

I enjoyed the suspense and the paranormal twist, and there were several moments where I found myself wanting to keep listening just to see what would happen next. The story has a good balance of action, mystery, and character moments without feeling too slow.

I really enjoyed listening to this one. It pulled me in pretty quickly, and I liked the mix of paranormal elements, mystery, and action. James is an interesting main character because he’s not trying to be a hero, but when his friend goes missing, he has no choice but to get involved.

The story kept moving, with plenty of suspense and unexpected complications along the way. I especially liked the tension between James and Agent Carrie Harris and how they had to put their differences aside to work together. The audiobook made the story easy to get into, and I found myself wanting to keep listening to see how everything would turn out.
