so, the story is good, it has good potential. I have to admit the delivery, especially in the first half of the book was not the best, felt childish and amateur, i could totally see where the plot was going at half way through. And yet, i still liked it! There is something about this book that won't allow me to cast it aside, therefore...i'm going into the next and hopefully the authors will have done a better job if all the revies i read can be trusted. Give it a chance!

I don't understand why this book gets such a mediocre rep online; I had a great time. I'm not entirely sure what I've just listened to because I have a lot of questions, but I know I had a great time. And hello, the male narrator, swoon! His voice was lovely. Although thinking about it I did try and read it a while back and I don't remember consciously deciding to not finish it; I just didn't. But now I know I was simply waiting for the audio. Now everyone says book 2 is where is really takes off so I'm excited because I thought this one was brilliant.
