I have enjoyed listening to the books in Toni Goode’s Whispers Series, and this one is no exception. The author gives us an exhilarating blend of paranormal intrigue, celestial adventure, and a heartfelt romance, which culminates in this gripping sixth and final instalment, Reckoning. In this finale, she masterfully weaves together every intricate thread laid out across all the earlier books, providing an emotional and satisfying conclusion.

Bree, a Cordovan witch whose memories of her passionate entanglement with the enigmatic vampire Finn were magically suppressed until she was thrust into a sinister plot orchestrated by rogue supernaturals, a plot that can not be allowed to succeed. But when Bree regains her memories, she finds herself at the centre of a fiery love triangle, feeling conflicting emotions for both Finn and Steele, as they battle for her heart amid the chaos of a looming vampire apocalypse.

If you enjoy fast-paced thrill rides packed with drama, romance, and a supernatural flair, then you will love Reckoning. It's a fitting conclusion to a series that has captivated me with its originality and emotional depth, set in a universe where meddling angels, vampires, and witches hold the fate of worlds in their grasp.

The narration is, as always, excellent - Freya Victoria brings the story to life beautifully.
