I absolutely loved this ! No surprises as Catherine Cowles is the queen of well written romantic suspense stories and beautifully complex characters.

This was a beautifully written story around the journey to self love and healing. Trace and his daughter Keeley live next door to our FMC Ellie. Ellie has fled an abusive relationship and is on her journey to independence and healing her inner child. Things take a turn when Ellie's life is in danger. There are so many memorable moments between Trace, Ellie and Keeley.
