About this listen

Brought to you by Penguin.

Stars will fall.

Elara is vengeful. Her love is in a deep sleep, trapped between the realms of life and death. Her enemy has vanished, Enzo’s only connection to the waking world with him.

And a life that Elara has never wanted has been thrust upon her, along with a new power she can not control.

Now a disgraced queen, Elara must gfind a way to wake Enzo, while also seeking the lost Titans, a league of gods who ruled the world long before the Stars.

But there is a darker power at play, one that even Ariete, King of the Stars, is afraid of. With enemies at every turn, Elara must tread carefully if she has any hope of waking her soulmate, and fulfilling her promise to make every Star fall.

The fantasy romance you’ve been waitingfor, complete with pirates, circuses and dark magick, as well as secrets that will leave you reeling long after you’ve turned the last page.

Critic reviews

Fallen Stars brims with angst and tension and female rage, and Imani Erriu’s electric way with words only heightens the reading experience. From the hair-raising plot twists to the heart-stopping steam to the howling defiance of the soul - this is simply the perfect fantasy (Thea Guanzon, Sunday Times bestselling author of The Hurricane Wars)
One of romantasy’s rising stars
Fallen Stars elevates the tender, exhilarating epic begun in Heavenly Bodies to a deeply romantic quest beyond death... Utterly captivating and impossible to put down (Shalini Abeysekara, #1 Sunday Times bestselling author of This Monster of Mine)
Incredibly immersive, Fallen Stars is an expertly woven, addictive romantasy that kept me glued to the book. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough (Elayna R. Gallea, author of Tethered)
A dark fairytale filled with romance, suspense, and adventure. Fallen Stars is one of the best sequels I ever read. Imani has such a way with words that I felt as if I was living the story right beside the characters and wish I could live there forever (Olivia Rose Darling, author of Fear the Flames)
Erriu welcomes us back to a world of intoxicating magic, danger and romance. I simply couldn't put Fallen Stars down (Katrina Kwan, author of The Last Dragon of the East)
The Heavenly Bodies series is everything I've been craving from romantasy. Elara has my heart, and coupled with Erriu’s talent for immersive worldbuilding and lyrical prose, Fallen Stars is a sequel that absolutely lives up to the hype (Rebecca Robinson, author of The Serpent and the Wolf)
It wouldn't be a surprise if this follows in the hallowed halls of Sarah J Maas

Just like with Heavenly Bodies I really liked the narration, and I did an immersive read with audio & ebook. With regard to the story, it took a while for me to get really in to it. In the beginning I was easily distracted, a sign that the story wasn’t totally gripping me. However, after 35-40% I really enjoyed it and liked the twists and turns the story took. I rate the story between 4-4.5⭐️. Really looking forward to part three of this series: Holy Monsters.

Good sequel!

4.75🌟 This book was a grower but grow it did! Don’t get me wrong, the first half was still a 4 star but the ending - oh my goodness. STUNNING! The twists, the shock factor, the main character supporting rage I feel right now!! Book 3 can’t come soon enough!! Helps that the narration is gorgeous too!
