I both read the book and listened to the audiobook and WOW — the audio made this experience even better. Absolutely perfect casting and it brought all the chemistry, tension, and emotion to life so well.
This had everything I love in a romance. The MMC was incredible 😭🔥 protective, obsessive, intense, and completely addictive. But the FMC was equally amazing and I loved the dynamic between them so much.
The chemistry in this book was insane and the spice?? HOT. There is a LOT of spice in this book and honestly it was such a good listen on audio 👀🎧🔥
This was a completely new author for me and I picked it up because it was recommended in a book club I’m in — and I am SO glad I did. I was hooked from start to finish and now I absolutely need to read more from this author.

As a first smut book and starting off strong with this one the storyline keeps you hooked and wanting more the main characters are relatable but captivating and their stories coming together is just amazing and leaves you wanting more

I went into this book expecting a dark romance with a lot of primal play and not much plot, which isn't a bad thing, but I was pleasantly surprised it was sooo much more and better. The story was amazing, I loved Claire and Shane and how their relationship developed and believe me there is a lot of spice and kink but there is a really great love story as well.

I love a strong fmc who is betrayed in the past but trades up, and man did she. Shane is the ultimate book boyfriend in my opinion. I loved Shane, how awkward and sweet he was but also feral for her.
I loved their chemistry, his awkwardness and her fire and the fact that they are in their thirties/forties was a big plus for me.

I love Amy as a narrator and as claire she was amazing, she had sassiness and humor and I really liked Aaron as Shane, his voice is amazing and he was great at being both feral and sweet.

Was short, quick, a bit predictable with a slight small twist. Writing is absolutely great. Overall I think it could have been longer, expanded on a bit more.
