Good military space saga . Nothing too original , hostage rescue was a bit unlikely ( total understatement) but well paced and pretty much action packed. Could do with less focus on the tortured guilt of the captain and more on the tactical aspects of the space battles . Too many exploding consoles and considering how many people get , killed , injured or knocked out from getting “thrown from their seats on the bridge “ perhaps focus on installing seatbelts ! Watch the Expanse for what is realistically going to be required . Otherwise a good yarn and the enemy is well constructed if a little self destructive .

Lasers and shields but no seatbelts

These books have totally captivated me, Jackson and his loyal motley crew really do draw you in to very tense and fast paced adventures leaving you on the edge of your seat hoping they all make it through. Can’t wait for more from this author 👍👍👍
