Maybe I am just not into protracted mourning, but found way too much time spent on ‘sad widow at funeral’. A friend once said he prefers screenplays because they do not have all the blah-blah of novels, just dialogue.

What a fantastic book. I have over 300 books in my audible library (crime and thrillers mainly) and that by far was the best book I have listened to for years - no exaggeration.
The subject matter was so on point and very up-to-date and the human reactions and emotions to everything were brilliant.
Such a good book. I had goosebumps through much of it.

Gripping, I struggled turning this off at night, just couldn’t stop listening. I finished it within a few days. Excellent writing, excellent performance. Will definitely be looking for more reads from this author

Firstly this is not my usual genre - but I like JD KIRK love Neil tennant so thought why not give it a go .
Right from the start it just draws you in and was thought provoking at times , there’s a glint of humour too .
I throughly enjoyed this - highly recommend ( not as good as Bob Hoon 🤭)
