A compelling tale - bit far fetched but really enjoyable. I liked the fact there was a female lead and the subject of endurance running was riveting. Loved the descriptions of the landscape and physical challenge .

I love documentaries about the endurance runners and races like the Sahara so I was looking forward to this. The chapters on the race and the runners were really good, I enjoyed them so much. I found the other story and the flash backs irritating, the plot was so far fetched I nearly gave up but I'm happy I finished it
