About this listen

Brought to you by Penguin

Virtual
reality takes on a new meaning in the next laugh-out-loud Little Badman adventure. Perfect for fans of Tom Gates and Planet Omar.

Humza’s life finally feels . . . normal. Aliens aren’t trying to kill him, zombies aren’t trying to eat him, there are no crazy spy missions on the horizon and certainly no mutant hamsters. So why does he still feel stressed? Enter Aisha Mariam Shah a.k.a the girl Humza is desperate to impress.

To get Aisha’s attention, Humza enters the science fair with his friends Wendy and Umer, and it soon looks like they have a real shot at winning. But Alan, their jealous classmate, has other ideas. He has his eyes on Aisha and the science fair prize too, and he’s determined to halt his nemeses in their tracks.

Using his invention, Alan traps the friends in a simulation. The only way to escape? Through a series of nightmare video game challenges. Luckily Humza is an expert gamer . . . or so he thought. Might teamwork hold the answer this time?

Honestly This book is so good the reader, Humza is obviously the author so his voices is what it sounds like and I love it, his voices is is so calming yet energetic, also, loved the story’s for a while now, great books that I binge over and over. Generally it’s my audiobook series, but not my favourite book in the series, I love book 1, the invasion of the killer aunties, it’s so good they need to make this into a movie it would generally be so good. Love it! Edit: Also, i love how in book 3 Humza thinks his dads girl advise is stupid but then it actually works!😂 Edit 2: The next book should have a time skip to year 11, where Humza has to go through choosing his profession, and having a new girl come into perspective, who clearly likes him, trouble with aisha, professions and exams, also while having a world ending threat, but we need lots of time to plot build as well!
