I was hooked from first page to last as the twists got twistier and all of the characters squirmed while waiting for their darkest secrets to be revealed. May I suggest a new Irish blessing? May you never live in a neighbourhood created by Andrea Mara. Andrea is blessed with a gift for knowing our darkest fears and playing on them like a virtuoso violinist, and I am here for it.
The convincing storyline maintains real dread in a world of everyday domestic detail. Very enjoyable.

This has to be one of the most entertaining stories I have listened to this year and I’ve listened to a lot! My favourite by this author, I was looking forward to her new book and she didn’t disappoint. I was gripped from the first chapter, who would have thought a text message to the wrong group could cause so much drama and create such a great story which I highly recommend. Just when I was struggling to find a good listen this beauty came along.
