This is the best book of the series so far. The characters are so real and their trials and tribulations so true. I cannot wait for the next instalment. Thank you!

I was surprised that this time round I managed to pick up the threads of the Castle family agin because lat book I struggled a bit to remember what was going on. But a helpful reprise in the opening chapter helped. There were still some story lines that were hard to re-follow, but once we started rolling it all began to come back to me. A good listen and want to hear the nextinstalment as soon as possible. We is still early on in the war so plenty more years to come and book episodes to chronicle it.

A wartime soap opera!!

Have enjoyed all the books in this series. It's not great literature and a little melodramatic, but it's heart warming and entertaining and well worth it.

An entertaining listen
