_____________________________________________

It’s time to put the guns down, Detective Cross. Even if you knew the way out of this place, we would catch you.

A serial killer is taking out America’s finest legal minds, and Alex Cross is called to investigate their brutal murders.

But during a dangerous mission to track down the killer, his wife, Bree, and best friend, John Sampson, go missing.

To save the people he loves most, Cross has only three goals:

Number one: Find Bree and John.
Number two: Escape.
Number three: Survive.

If he fails, there will be no one left in the House of Cross.

It’s been a while since I read Alec Cross books, I used to - voraciously. I now find reading/concentrating difficult - hence I’m now an Audible member.

Finding and enjoying old favourites can be hit and miss, all down to the narrator of course. This book was a daily deal and I went for it. I’m so glad, I loved finding several years along the Cross household still holds strong, Nana Mama still as capable as ever despite her great age, the kids are doing well and Alex happily married to Bree Stone.
The excellent Bree teamed up with Alex and Sampson to solve this fast paced high-stakes case. Also happy that Cross and Sampson’s deep friendship still endures. Very good narration by all - I enjoyed it very much!

Loved it!
