I love Portia Macintosh books and Karen Cass is my favourite narrator as she brings the characters to life, so they are relatable.
Every story has a message and for me this book said 'What is meant for you won't go by you' also 'Don't look back and worry as the present is your gift because you have experience and knowledge, we all know that knowledge is power'

I loved that music journalist Nicole Wild would not put up with any crap from her ex-boyfriend Rowan after he cheated on her and got her involved in a pyramid scheme using her name and money without her knowledge, I'm glad she was a strong 💪 female, I too would be furious in the same situation and would not forgive him or take him back!

Nicole's best friend Dylan King is a famous Rock singer in a band, they are really meant to be ~ The best relationships are built on friendships. I would have preferred a really fantastic epilogue as I felt it ended so soon.

This listen was definitely worth the credit and I completely recommend it 🌠
