I loved it. absolutely deserved its 5 stars. The narrator was perfect too in bringing out the humour and the charm. I have immediately pre ordered the next in series

This has all the hallmarks of a classic India Holton adventure - humour, keenly observed human nature and a little bit of magic. I love the academic references, Beth and Devon are delightful and I love how their passion for ornithology becomes a passion for each other, they’re just lovely and you can’t help rooting for them. Anyone who’s ever had to stand up to a thesis advisor will also find some of the climatic scenes oddly cathartic.

It was incredibly funny and entertaining. I listened to it because the English Bookshop selected this as the book of the month December. I’m not really interested in romance books but this was fun. Mainly funny :)
