Great book written well especially during the pandemic gives a good insight to a foster carers life

Really enjoyed this book and great out come for little Emily. Also a reminder of the effects of lockdown on us all.

Another great read by Casey Watson

The narrator is reading like it’s a comedy as opposed to a serious story and the voices for different people are frankly insulting to those people especially Amelie’s voice. Author should have got a different narrator

good story but again the narration is so bad it makes it quite difficult to listen to.

I love Casey Watson's books, but Kate Lock does a real disservice to her works with her unnatural pauses and unusual emphasis on certain words. It makes it really hard to relax into listening, because it is just so strange with her pitch changes and pacing. It's really grating and painful to listen to. I have ADHD and find it hard to focus at the best of times, but the way this is narrated makes it harder to follow. I really can't describe it accurately.
