About this listen

Book 5 of The End Times

Archaon Everchosen marches on the city of Middenheim. The last heroes of men, elves and dwarfs gather to stop him, but to stand against the hordes of the Ruinous Powers, they must turn to darker allies…

LISTEN TO IT BECAUSE

It's a bleak and tragic – and thoroughly epic and enjoyable – look at the final days of the Warhammer World and the heroes and villains who fought to save or damn it.

THE STORY

The End Times have come. Archaon Everchosen marches on the city of Middenheim – if he captures it, the key to the Chaos Gods' ultimate victory will be his. The last heroes of men, elves and dwarfs gather to stop him, but to stand against the hordes of the Ruinous Powers, they must turn to darker allies. Against all reason, the last hope for the world may be the Undying King, Nagash himself – if he and the mortal races can find a common cause and work together. If they cannot, Archaon's plan will come to fruition, and Chaos will consume the world.

A great send off the a great world. Superbly narrated, good pacing AOS can’t compare in my opinion

took me a long time to get over this as a life long Warhammer fantasy fan but like all things life moves on. honestly the whole end times has been good from slayer to these 4 books.
well written if not a little long winded in places. epic scale and memorable moments. great narration. well worth a listen

A worthy ending

Years ago when the cancelled WFB I was so sad as I loved the world. I have to give GW credit though they really sent it out with a bang. Special mention to my boy Brunner the bounty hunter.

A great ending

I really enjoyed listening to my now favourite narrator reading an excellent story, but it still makes me sad all the same listening to what I know is the end of my favourite warhammer time period with amazing characters.
Yeah you have AOS and it’s alright, but it’s hollow to me compared to all the characters from this, with all of their lore, all of the lore from the world a province’s themselves to… a lifetime snuffed out.. Nevermind! The old world is back now so that is one positive!

This is a great listen all the same, thoroughly recommend
