I loved the narration of Joe Mills, who brings out the mystery and action. Perfect.

This book is action packed. DCI Grant is posted to Cornwall after recuperating after a terrorist attack. This has the required twists and turns the two plots nicely dovetailed. It was an addictive listen, the narration really worked and added to the story. I just had to complete listening to get to the end but then I was bereft when it was over. Loved the ending set it up right for the next book.

I loved this book. It surprised me and kept my attention all the way through. The story deals with difficult subjects in a careful way so as to tell the tale fully without being offensive or salacious.
For me, what made the book stand out was the narration. The narrator did a great job on accents, voices, and all the drama you could want from one story. Superb storytelling all around
