FROM THE SUNDAY TIMES BESTSELLING AUTHOR & GLOBAL TIK TOK SENSATION, EMILY HENRY

Daphne always loved the way Peter told their story. That is until it became the prologue to his actual love story with his childhood bestie, Petra.

Which is how Daphne ends up rooming with her total opposite and the only person who could possibly understand her predicament: Petra's ex, Miles.

As expected, it’s not a match made in heaven – that is until one night, while tossing back tequilas, they form a plan.

And if it involves posting deliberately misleading photos of their adventures together, well, who could blame them?

But it’s all just for show, of course.

Because there’s no way Daphne would start her new chapter by falling in love with her ex-fiancé’s new fiancée’s ex . . . right?

A shimmering, joyful new novel about a pair of opposites with the wrong thing in common, from #1 New York Times and Sunday Times bestselling author Emily Henry

Editorial Review

Emily Henry’s best yet
April showers bring … another new novel from Emily Henry. For the fifth year in a row, Henry warms up the spring season with a heartfelt romance set in a dreamy locale featuring an unlikely pair. Daphne’s fiancé dumps her for his childhood best friend, Petra. Daphne decides to move in with Petra’s jilted ex, Miles, fake dating each other to make the new couple jealous—but it quickly turns into something more. Henry’s knack for writing relatable characters while balancing romantic love with relationships between friends and siblings adds even more joy to this beautiful story. Julia Whelan delivers another flawless performance, bringing the unforgettable cast of Funny Story to life. I think this one might be Henry’s best yet! —Margaret H., Audible Editor

Easy story with a few twists. Characters relatable. Listened to this on the beach and it was a perfect story to listen to on holidays.

I love listening to Emily Henry. Even though many of her books have similar plot lines the characters are always really likeable and relatable and go through great growth. I love the easy to listen to monologue style of her writing and the happy endings that always come at the end. Great comfort read

There is a reason why Emily Henry is this generation’s queen of romance. Her books are well written, the characters well fleshed and the atmosphere envolving.

Another solid romcom from Emily Henry

This book really does bring meaning to never judging people on face value. I found the two main characters slightly irritating initially-a bit clever and shallow. However, the author expertly drew me in through revealing layers of their very human, relatable vulnerabilities. Glad I stuck with it.
