couldn't get into the story. due to lack of enthusiasm from the narrators. sorry guys

The story was good, but the writing bot so much. There was a lot of filler, especially conversations that would go on far too long, saying nothing.
The narration was dreary and had to be speeded up to at least x 1.4, at some points 1.8, but that made it tolerable. I also had to jump forward through some of the pointless wordy conversations.
The ending was bad as it wasn’t an ending. As usual you have to buy more books to find out what happens.

This was so boring, it droned on and on with no development. The beginning was a tease there was no spice in this book. No character development no romantic attachment development. I listened till the ending for some kind of conclusion but no the ending was a cliffhanger and a dreadful one. A wasted few days listening to this. So many similar books out there which are much better the narrators were good.

Thought I’d give it a chance despite some brutal previous reviews. I’ve really enjoyed it! Good story with a balance of excellent steamy bits. Bit of a spoiler alert about the best mate in the synopsis 🙄. I’d recommend it! x
