Enjoying tge new characters and lots of scope to expand the story and characters. I really don't get why they added music. Needless and at ti.es an irritation. And it needed fading out quicker than it was. At times narrator over acted so to speak. just read the book - we are not at the theatre and this ain't a full dramatisation. In normal flow narrator is good.
look forward to the next book tho - just bin the music

A great story- hopefully the first in a series. Excellently narrated and with the atmospheric sound effects it made for a great listen

It was so disappointing when Cassius and his motley support team came to an end in the last book. However Nick Brown has pivoted well with a very different lead character in 3rd century Byzantium. Good story, well read and excellent start for this Spinoff.
