Rebecca Zanetti returns to her paranormal romance roots!

When Mia Stone is asked to consult on a case in the middle of nowhere, she leaps at the chance to escape the disaster that has become her FBI career, while ignoring the threat still pursuing her. The case turns out to involve the dangerously sexy Seth Volk, who's a bad boy on his best day and a predatory wolf on his worst. Literally.

Wolf was initially published in Kindle Vella.

I loved this shifter thriller. Mia is a cop and after the deaths of a couple of young woman she starts investigating.
She falls for one of the suspects and he is the son of the alpha in the local pack.
Its very twisty and definitely a who dunnit!
I guessed correctly but didn't know why until the end!
What I didn't like was the way the story was written - i understand is a kindle vella & while understand what it is, I am bit familiar, so it might explain the weirdness in the split between 1st and 3rd person.
Narration was good.

Good

Awesome story and characters. Many twist and turns. I normally see the plots ending in the middle of a book. Not this time. Wow. Just wow. Narrators was also great.

A twisting plot following a muder investigation, complicated by the involvement of wolf shifters. I loved the characters and their interactions. Great plot and narration.

A gripping story
