Really enjoyed it, I could see what was coming pretty early on but that didn’t spoil my enjoyment at all. Couple of editing errors meant the performance wasn’t perfect but Nikki Patel’s narration was good

Really enjoyed this book. I’m a massive fan of Laura Jane Williams and this one might be my favourite yet. The concept behind it makes it different to most romcoms and I really wasn’t sure which way the story would play out for most of the book. Definitely recommend!

I don't know how she has so many stories in her, but this one is so clever. I admit at first I got confused with the chapter names, but soon it all clicked into place. I loved the references to Sci-fi and having two stories in alternate realities running along side each other, occasionally crossing paths! it's been a read I've struggled to put down/pause and kept wanting to know what happens next. Also I love the endings, not giving anything away, but it feels justified!

This totally fried my peri-meno brain as for some reason it didn't click first of all that it was a "sliding doors" book.
Literally I was listening thinking "this doesn't make sense" 😂
Then I looked at the chapters and realised it was a book set in 2 alternate realities which is of course totally genius!

I am a fan of Laura's novels as I love the romantic comedy of them as it's pure escapism, sometimes you don't want to listen/read about the drudgery of real life when we all live it every day. So I absolutely love listening to books like these and I have listened to nearly all Laura Jane Williams books and this is a hit in my opinion!

The narrator did her job very well, as I haven't heard Nikki Patel narrate before so I thought she was loud and clear for all to hear which is a fab narrator.

Yes I recommend this book👍 😀
