About this listen

I have listened to this book a handful of times, and it gets better each time. It is witty and comical to the point I am actually laughing, unexpected turns in the storyline as well as a bit of real sadness / Heartache for the characters. A real shame it is only a trilogy. I would highly recommend this listen/read to everyone who likes a fantasy, action-adventure. very entertaining and even better that the whole trilogy is included in the membership. Hopefully they are still on there for my son to listen to. The narrator does an excellent job and I think makes it better to listen to. I will be listening / reading to more material from Will Wight.

You could do a lot worse than this book. The narration is at first, painful… but hang it there, it becomes bearable and almost enjoyable!

I got this as it was in the included section and after reading the reviews decided to give it a go. Glad I did because I thoroughly enjoyed the story and finished it in a day. On to the second one now!
Definitely give this one a listen!

It's not masterpiece but i enjoyed it a lot. I like how author played with the common troupe of the chosen hero, but he leads narration from perspective of the boy which is nothing special. I like interactions between all te characters and their changes. And also i really like the world and magic system.
