This was just as gripping as the first one. Really loved it and the direction it went. Also have food for thought. I am truly enamoured with the two books. Will definitely read both again!

A great end; or possible cliffhanger….

this book has everything you need, I was lost in the story from tearing up to laughing out loud. from love of family, friends, to understanding the enemy.

The adventure was great and the storyline engaging. I would only say if the author is going to continue along this line then she needs to find someone who can actually speak yoruba to say the incantations if continuing along the Orisa line.

Great story

Excellent plot and characters. Thanks for including creatures from different African mythologies - so interesting to learn about these.
The narrator did a great job in general and was able to say the Yoruba names and single words well - thank you.
With Yoruba being a tonal language, it's quite important that the words are pronounced correctly. This becomes of even greater importance when using phrases and whole sentences as opposed to single words. Otherwise the sentences can lose their meaning.
Overall, really enjoyable - thanks to both author and narrator.

Great Mami Wata tale
