Jennifer Parker, a brilliant and beautiful young lawyer, survives shattering career setbacks to become one of the most successful defense attorneys in America. Jennifer's strength and beauty win the love of two powerful men but earn her the implacable hatred of a third. Adam Warner, a man of integrity born to lead his country, is tied by honor and obligation to his wife. Mafia boss Michael Moretti nearly destroys Jennifer's career before it begins. Robert DiSilva, a district attorney who fought his way to the top, neither forgets nor forgives those who cross him.

Author Sidney Sheldon (Memories of Midnight, Master of the Game) once again weaves a compelling story of romance, intrigue, treachery, and high stakes adventure.

I could not listen to this book fast enough, Jennifer Parker a newly qualified lawyer so eager to please that she makes a rookie mistake by delivering a package that has been given to her by someone in at the court who calls her by name. Sadly the contents of the package scares the witness into not testifying. This in turn makes the whole case collapse and the district Attorney is gunning for her. She is accused of working with a notorious mob boss.

Jennifer hangs on to being a lawyer by the skin of her teeth and sets up a small practice and from then on she thrives and one day she comes up against the very DA who is after her blood.

Will she cower away, will she continue to thrive, what will happen to her heart, throw in the mob, danger, kidnap and conniving behaviour of a certain woman, you have it all. A very old book I read years ago but still entertaining

Engaging and addictive

Another stunning novel by Sidney Sheldon, who I always wish had written five times as many books in his lifetime. Rage Of Angels is made absolutely outstanding as an audiobook by the wonderful Lorelei King, who brings Jennifer Parker, and all the book’s characters, so magnificently to life. I wept as the book ended. Rage Of Angels is a must-read for those who love thrillers, intrigue, high emotion, and romance. Thank you so much, Audible.

Lorelei King brought Sidney Sheldon's book to life wonderfully for me. I didn't have any problem finishing it. I think that Sidney Sheldon has a deft hand at painting his picture with words, he described several foreign cities that I have yet to visit in concise but evocative detail, putting me right into the scene. I finally looked Lorelei King up on the internet and now I understand why she has such good diction, and such accurate mimicry - she's an American born British actress - I could listen to her reciting the phone book and still enjoy it.
