We are experiencing the greatest global shift in the world of work for a century. So, how do we make the most of this unique opportunity and radically redesign the way we work - forever?

Professor Lynda Gratton is the global thought-leader on the future of work. Based on thirty years of research into the technological, demographic, cultural and societal trends that are shaping work, and building on what we learnt through our experiences of the global pandemic, Lynda Gratton presents her innovative four step framework for redesigning work that will help you:

Understand the challenges your business is facing
Reimagine creative, new approaches and processes
Model and Test these within your organisation
Act and Create based on contemporary, data-led feedback

Whether you're leading a small team or running a multinational, this is the time to make lasting change and equip your business for the future. Redesigning Work is the definitive book on how to transform your organisation and make hybrid working work for you. It will help your team embrace change, increase productivity and thrive in our new, more flexible working world.

Critic reviews

An intelligent, deeply thoughtful book that will walk you through the choices that will be critical to your people's future happiness and well-being, and by extension, to your organization's performance.
We are going through a period of extraordinary change and working practices will change profoundly. Lynda's book helps us think through the implications.
Very much a how-to guide, with practical frameworks and examples. The message is clear: don't leave the future of work to chance
A remarkably thoughtful and practical guide to rethinking how work gets done. With Gratton's help, this journey can be far more systematic and rewarding than it would otherwise be.
Lynda's book couldn't come at a better time as every CEO and their senior team grapple with the future of work. This book provides excellent advice as we attempt to build it!
Very much a how-to guide, with practical frameworks and examples. The rigour and discipline Gratton brings to the book might surprise those who haven't been involved in organisational change. The message is clear: don't leave the future of work to chance

I really enjoyed the ideas presented in this book. although I do not do paid work I can see the values for my children who do and have urged them to read it and attempt to change their work practices. easier to listen to than earlier books as no graphs to look at. preferred hearing the author read except for the slow way executives names were pronounced. well done.!

an excellent listen

our medium size enterprise has been struggling to engage colleagues on the journey to uncover the future of work accelerated by the pandemic. our strategic thinking is well advanced however this book provides the pathway, the insight and the vocabulary that enables leaders and managers to make change happen. if you are challenged by employee engagement read and learn. you will benefit enormously from the time spent.

The book was not very engaging. Very boring and a struggle to listen to the end but I persisted. Yes there were a couple of useful nuggets in the book but not worth all the hours of listening. In my opinion you can fit all the highlights in an article.

Disappointing
