I read this book in a couple of days. The descriptions of the food of the time, the television programmes and of life in the 60’s are so on point. A true reflection of my experience as a teenage unmarried mother. How times have changed and so much for the better. A beautiful story.

Jacqueline Wilson's first book for older readers and it's just fantastic! The narrator was really
good and although this was an emotional read it was not too hard reading at all. Hope she has more books for older readers!
