About this listen

Brought to you by Penguin.

Read by Marian Keyes and featuring an exclusive Q&A between Graham Norton and Marian Keyes.

Twenty-five years after the iconic one-and-a-half-million-copy best seller Rachel's Holiday burst into our lives, Rachel's back!

Back in the long ago '90s, Rachel Walsh was a mess.

But a spell in rehab transformed everything. Life became very good, very quickly. These days, Rachel has love, family, a great job as an addiction counsellor; she even gardens. Her only bad habit is a fondness for expensive trainers.

But with the sudden reappearance of a man she'd once loved, her life wobbles.

She'd thought she was settled. Fixed forever. Is she about to discover that no matter what our age everything can change?

Is it time to think again, Rachel?

i am so glad I got to listen to this written and read by Marian Keyes, I loved the first one which I read 25 years ago, I re read it before I listened this bought for a long car journey alone , OMG I became so involved in the people (no spoilers) I felt the pain and agonised about how it might end… not wanting it to as I knew I would feel sad when it had and yes I do, I wanted it to carry on and on… such a good read

Fabulous

The story was a great subject matter but obviously could not be so funny as other Walsh stories as frankly such a sad subject. I know Marian enjoys doing her own narrating but sorry Marian the actress with her many Irish subtle changes is funnier to listen too, and your mammy Walsh is not a touch in the original. Please leave the narration to the professionals and read it out loud for your own family. Please can we have another Walsh family hook though, love them !

Rachel again but not so funny

Very sad and moving. However went on way too long. The narrator was very good.

Way too long…

Reread Rachel's Holiday then this. Really enjoyed this book. Marian is so clever at only disclosing the story a little bit at a time. She is a bit obsessed with clothes and designer stuff in her books but that's her thing. I have read all Marian's books and am never disappointed. Well done

I enjoyed this book from start to finish such a joy to read about characters that are a similar age to myself, loved that it’s written in real time from the end of Rachel’s Holiday.

Superb! My favourite author never disappoints.
