There are some events happening in Eastern New Mexico, and Will rides to the area known as Devil's mountain. Will and his brother Joe sell lots horses to the army and the Indian Reservations. Will has heard that there are herds of wild horses and some unbranded cattle along the Canadian river. There are also rumors that several people have disappeared from this area. People in the area say some devil-worshipers are killing people and burning the bodies and giving the ashes to Satan.
