Enter the realm. Unleash the darkness. Live the legend.

In a land without magic, an assassin is summoned to the castle. Celaena Sardothien has no love for the vicious king who rules from his throne of glass, but she has not come to kill him. She has come to win her freedom. If she defeats twenty-three murderers, thieves, and warriors in a deadly competition, she will be released from prison to serve as the King's Champion.

But something rotten dwells in the castle – and it's there to kill. When her competitors start dying mysteriously, one by one, Celaena’s fight for freedom becomes a fight for survival – and a desperate quest to root out the evil before it destroys her world, and the people she has come to love.

Thrilling and fierce, Throne of Glass is the first book in the #1 New York Times bestselling series that has captivated people worldwide.

I have read this series a few times and equally enjoy listening to it on audio. Elizabeth Evans does an absolutely amazing job narrating!

I've read a huge amount of fantasy over the last 35 years, and this is right up there with the best of them. Truly original, great storyline. I've actually read the whole Throne of Glass in the past, but have decided to listen to them on Audible because they are so good. Epic storyline, and the narration is excellent. I would definitely recommend them. I don't know why they haven't been made into a TV series.

Best book ever

Good read overall but felt like it was missing something, think I pushed through it more as I'm aware the rest of the series is brilliant - so looking forward to seeing where the story goes!

Although a YA title, as an adult, I still enjoyed this one. Reminded me a bit of the hunger games, and included the typical enemies to friends to (almost) lovers trope that has become characteristic of this type of book. That being said, I binge listened over the course of a day and a half lol.

The performances were okay. That of the narrators voice and the main character we’re fine, but the male voices she adopted could get a little cringe as they seemed a bit over dramatic.

Nonetheless, will probably be downloading the next book in the series lol

Fun, emotional and exciting. I enjoyed the growth of all the characters and the narrator really adds to bringing them all to life. Buying the next book immediately.

An exciting fantasy
