There is never a dull moment with laxmi Hariharan's books, they are always so captivating. I enjoyed every minute and it left me wanting more.
I got a free copy of this book.

The book is 4 stars, but I love to read and listen to the audio at the same time.. In the first 4 books, the audio was OK, but the accent for the East End wasn't correct at all by either narrator, but it was at least tolerable. Why Laxmi has continued with these two is beyond me. Neither can do a Scottish accent to save their lives, but Tor Thom is again passable to endure. However, Charley Ongel has no idea whatsoever. The accent she does is more like an Asian accent of Indian descent. Tor at times sounds Irish and does an English accent for Chloe. Charley seems to be attempting a Russian accent for Chloe. Again, it's a huge miss, and why is she doing a Russian accent for her when in the prior books she did an English accent for Lucy?? As they are sisters and had the same tutors, their accents should be the same. The story is good, worth a read, but the audio just isn't!!
