About this listen

It is the autumn of 2019. Merlin’s wayward apprentice has escaped from the tower of London with his raven familiars. Legend foretells that the white tower, then England, will fall. Can King Arthur, a weary veteran of the English Civil War, Waterloo, and the Somme, prevent the Ravenmaster from exacting his revenge?

This is a great adventure story a good balance of magic and swords and guns.
King Arthur and his knights and Merlin will lead you a great adventure though history as they fight an evil wizard and his ravens and their dastardly plans for England and it's crown.

I very much enjoyed this book not only the narrator was a perfect choice as he brought the the story to life but it the retelling of this age old tale with a modern twist will keep you guessing and entertained through out. I can’t wait for the next one...

I found this book very engaging, I wanted to keep driving just so I could hear more. A unique and interesting take on a much loved legend. Perhaps a little predictable at the very last but not unenjoyable by any stretch. I look forward to more from this author.

The narrator was excellent, producing not only individual and easily distinguishable voices for separate characters, but injecting them with feeling and tone that made them seem all the more real. I'd advise keeping this fellow around, Mr. Sannox!

A brilliant take on a classic legend

Really enjoyable story and I’d happily listen to more!
Nigel’s storytelling is great. I imagine it’s what it would have been like to listen to a Bard in medieval times gathered around the fire!
Can’t fault it!
This is my honest opinion of a free review copy.
