Really enjoyed listening to it and looking forward to the next one. Hopefully this will be a series.

Great book.

The story is excellent. The pace is excellent. The characters seem real and behave as you would expect people to behave. There were some nice plot twists. It was written with humour - as you would expect from Adele Abbot - but this is a straight whodunnit. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The narration was a bit too jolly at times and grated in places, but I wish I had the talent of Alison Campbell.

Not what I expected - even better!

I loved this book. The characters were good, the storylines were good. You can see it as an opening book that will lead to more. Zero is my favourite character. He has lots of skills and works quickly. He's a good guy. Kat's a bit unbelievably brave in circumstances; but the whole thing hangs together well. Can't wait for the next one.

Loved it !

i confess i prefer the Jill Gooder witch pi series but this is written with the same verve and elan. a good story although not a long one it has pace and leaves you on a cliffhanger wondering what the next will be about.
