Loved every moment of this book! It grabbed me from page 1 ! Brilliantly written, laugh out loud moments! Empowering for women!

Brilliant

I had high hopes for this book when I listened to the first chapter. I was expecting scandal and gasps, but unfortunately I didnt get any of that. I feel like the story didnt ever really get going - nothing really happened. The main character felt almost robotic and 'vanilla' despite what she was going though. I didnt dislike the book altogether, but I certainly wouldn't say it was a page turner. The narrator had a lovely soothing tone to her voice though. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this book if you're after something to really get your teeth in to.

I loved this book from beginning to end. Normal people trying to get from life what makes them happy whilst balancing life’s challenges. Highly recommend.

Good story throughout

I didn’t love this story, nor did I hate it. It was just ok. It got a little tedious listening to day after day of the same thing and I got very frustrated at the husband’s attitude and the main character tolerating it. It all ended a little abruptly and felt unfinished. However it was easy going and the main character was likeable. The narration was good too but I wasn’t excited to listen to it.
