They tried to kill him to cover up an ancient secret. Now Sean Wyatt is plunged head first into a race against time to save his best friend and the lives of billions.

A 4,000-year-old mystery lurks in the hills of Georgia. While investigating a strange series of ancient symbols, an archaeologist vanishes, and a professor he entrusted with the secret is murdered. Former government agent Sean Wyatt learns of his friend's disappearance and the murder. Now he must unravel the clues to the ancient mystery that holds incredible power.

To save his friend, Sean will have to fight off highly trained mercenaries in hand to hand combat, violent shootouts, and high speed car chases through the Blue Ridge Mountains. And in the end, what he learns will change the history books as we know them.

This could have been so much better and considerably shorter if the author had not over-explained every action made by the characters. It's like he didn't trust the readers to use their imagination. The book is poorly written and needs editing.

The story itself is good. The idea is just as good as any other story of this genre, and the ending was complete but allowing for a continuation into the next installment.

I probably won't be buying the next book in the series.

Good story but....

Another treasure hunt but amusing enough. Not great literature and the usual character tropes. There will be a sequel.

Light romp

I chose the book because the content was similar to other books I enjoy. I certainly wasn't disappointed. I have never heard of the author or characters before and I was hoping that it would be good as you can never tell. I give this fiver out of five with good story, good well rounded characters and action from the start. It isn't often you can't stop listening to a book but this is one of them. I would have happily listened in one sitting.

Excellent

Good narration which carries the listener along. Storyline is very good and interesting from one chapter to the next.

Gripping listen from start to finish.
