My first audible book and a brilliant story as I remembered it was. Great characters and fantastically tense story telling. I read it as a young teen and this revisit was every bit as exciting.

I listened to this on Audible and it was brilliant! The narration was superb....

The story starts when Travis finds a dog in the woods... the dog is scared so Travis takes him and keeps him. Soon after it becomes apparent this is no ordinary dog... the dog comes with a story and those who kept him want him back. However, the dog is only part of the start of the story. The outsider is trying to kill the dog and when there seems to be some psychic connection between them, can Travis protect his new special pet?

Although in essence this is a story about a dog (that any dog owner will love), it's also about what's right and wrong, individuals taking on the establishment, love, friendship and loyalty. It's a great story... dog lovers are especially going to love it!!
